Okay, I uploaded it to Rapidshare.com as a mirror. The links are exchangeable, meaning you can download part 1, 2, 3 in Megaupload, and part 4 to 8 in Rapidshare and you can join them together still.

I joined all of them and the movie is only 1 hour 10 min and 59 second long o.O
Yeah, there are only 8 parts. Are you sure you downloaded them all completely? The size of all 8 should be 699MB, when joined them together, the .avi file should be 699MB too, then you'll have a 2 hours, 19 minutes, and 50 seconds movie. Let me know if it helps.

why is rapid share has a limit after i download the 3 parts...?

Umm, guys, next time, under "Choose an identity", choose Other and input your name so I know how to call you.
About rapidshare, yeah, it has limit for non-premium user, just get back later to download the rest. For some countries, rapidshare can't be downloaded at all, that's why I have all my links on Megaupload.
To check how to download using Megaupload, please refer to the Tricks section

Yes, all correct. But you said you got 396MB after joining them, which mean that there's something wrong with your file's names, please check if the filename are:

You mention that rapidshare link does not allow some countries to download,
can you tell me why? I live in singapore and haven been able to download anything from it. So it is my country problem?

@Wondering: it's not the country's problem. It's the ISP's problem, some ISPs just have dynamic IP, meaning your IP is shared with other users of the same ISP, and because Rapidshare just allows 100MB download per hour, and they calculate that based on the IP address. So if other internet-users, which have the same IP as you, downloaded before you, then you can't download anymore.

For me, numbers 2 and 7 don't work for Megaupload.
Part 2 and 7 worked fine for me, just checked again too. What error did you get?
yeah the 2nd part has a prob before... i think the prob's on megaupload itself.. good thing its fixed now.. cant continue downloading because of it~
hey guys i finally got the video to work, but i can't get the subtitles to work. i'm running it on vlc should i run it on something else or what? please help!

@Jonathan VLC should detect the subtitle automatically though, but if not, try Files>Open Files.. then browse to the movie file, then CHECK the subtitle box, and browse to the subtitle. It should work fine. Let me know how it goes :)

Nice... DN 2 was a great movie, now i'd like to watch it again. Rapidshare just doesnt work for me, so does Megaupload. It may work for others, but not for me ^^ So i'd just like to ask you to upload it on:

Its a great uploading site that doesnt have any "premium" adverts and takes like 40 seconds (rapidshare). Uploadtemple works all the time, unlike megaupload (download limit exceeded).

well i get the subtitles to work on realplayer, but they won't work on vlc. weird, but it works so it's ok

Hey, you must make sure that the subtitle have the same name as the movie to be able to make them played together (same filename, different file extension). Try VLC if you don't want to install Virtual Dub for your WMP

my problem: when I join all files, I get an 396mb file. I checked all the file names and they were all the same. there were 7 files of 699mb and one file of 6,99mb. I joined them a couple of times again and again but nothing works. Has anyone got the same problem or can anyone help me?

it won't play either. but I stick the file in winavi converter and when I convert it again to avi (although it already is in avi..) I can watch it, but I still have an 1 hour and 10 minutes movie, no matter how many times I try again and again. its getting pretty annoying!

the size of the joined movie is 541mb and its durage is 01:10:59. isn't the 8th file less than the others? maybe I'll re-download file 8, and see if it helps :)

Help! I tried joining the files together with the joiner thingy you said to download, and all I get is "Death Note 2 the Last name.avi.joined". I then tried to play it, but it couldn't recognize the file and couldn't play it! I copied all the file names you said to use, so I know that all of the names of the files are correct, so what's wrong? Please help me!
You must already have a file names "Death Note 2 the Last name.avi" in that folder, that's why it made the new file ended with "joined". Just delete the other .avi file, then delete the .joined part of "Death Note 2 the Last name.avi.joined" and play it. It should be fine

Ok, I sent you a little movie-ish thing that was about 7 or so seconds long and it was of the state of my Death Note Episodes and Movies folder to your email, and I'm not sure if you got it or not. I sent it to you a while ago, and have heard no response, so I will assume that you either have been busy or did not receive my email. I will try and send you a snapshot of my folder again.
