How to bypass Megaupload limits - Part 2

In the previous post, I showed you the way to bypass Megaupload slots limit. In this one, I'll show you how to bypass another Megaupload limit called "Download exceeded, please try again" or something like that. Okie, let's get started.

Symptoms

• Take a Megaupload download link (duh!)
• If you already did the trick in my previous post, you should be able to see the countdown timer from 45 seconds, and after the countdown, you should see the "Click here to download" button.
  



• Click on the button and if your download limit is exceeded, you'll see a blank page with a sentense "Download limit exceeded" and you'll be re-directed to the premium purchase page after 3-5 seconds
  

Get Direct Link Method 1

• You need to have your finger ready on the Esc button and right when you see the blank page, press the Esc button. Then look at the address bar, you should see the direct link. Copy that link (select that link>Right click>Copy or Select that link>press Ctrl-V)



• Follow the download method to download the file. Note: Paste the direct link into the browser won't work

Get Direct Link Method 2

• You can download the MegaUpload Link Grabber here
• Paste the megaupload link into the program. Press the "Get Link" button
  



• The program will start and you still must wait 45 seconds to get the link. The direct link will appear in the box.
  



• Follow the download method to download the file. Note: Paste the direct link into the browser won't work

Download Method

• Use a Download Manager like Flash Get or Internet Download Manager, paste the link in the Download Manager to download it. (I use Internet Download Manager, but feel free to use any Download Manager that you'd prefer)
  




• Your download manager might say that the link can't be downloaded due to limit exceeded, but just re-do it and it eventually allow you to.

Detecting bad pixels on your new LCD monitor

I've just got a new 17" LCD monitor, my first ever,(thanks KFM :p) and though common sense tells me that if it had dead pixels (as is not uncommon with LCD screens) I'd notice them eventually, curiosity got the best of my proverbial cat and I wanted to know Right Now. Ergo, the Dead Pixels Test. The test is really just a patterned background image that makes dead pixels stick out like a sore thumb, but it's handy and does what it claims to. The verdict? Miraculously, my pixels are 100% intact.

How to bypass Megaupload limits

MegaUpload is one of the most popular One-Click Webhosting and free file hosting that allows users to upload and store files up to 250 MB in size (up to 5 GB for premium users, although you can upload unlimited number of files) and share with others. Unfortunately, if you want to download contents and files from MegaUpload file hosting service for free, there are some limitations that applied to regular users, and one of them is download slots limit based on your country. The download slots available is depends on country, and if it’s used up, you have to wait for a download to finish and vacant the slot for you to be able to download again.

When the limit is hit, the message such as “All slots assigned to your country are in use, try again later” will appear. To hack the MegaUpload download slots limit by country so that you can bypass the download slots limit, do the following:

For mozilla firefox:
First go to http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/59/
Click Install Now to install addon.
Restart FF. Tool-->User Agent Switcher--->Options--->Options
Click User Agents--->Add
Type this:
+ Description: MEGAUPLOAD 1.0
+ User Agent: MEGAUPLOAD 1.0
Click OK twice to finish adding User Agent.
From now, before downloading any file on megaupload just go Tools--> User Agent Switcher--->MEGAUPLOAD 1.0

For Internet Explorer
Start/run->> type regedit -> ok
Go to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]

Note: if you use Internet Explorer 7
go to: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]

Right click on Post Platform > New > String Value > type MEGAUPLOAD 1.0> ok

Now U can download from megaupload without error : "All download slots (..) assigned to your country (....) are in use"
